Mother Cabrini never turned her back on anyone in need
of care and compassion. If she were alive today, she
would be proud that the hospital that bears her name
is a New York State Designated AIDS Center and a nationally
recognized leader in HIV/AIDS care.
The heart of our program is a team of compassionate
doctors, nurses, social workers and support staff, who
not only treat HIV/AIDS, but the emotional impact it
can cause.
A 52-bed unit is available at the hospital for emergency
and inpatient care.
As a patient, you will be assigned a Case Manager,
who will become familiar with your situation and help
you with all aspects of your care, They can also assist
you with housing, meals, transportation, public benefits
and legal services.
The fight against HIV/AIDS is a long and difficult
one. Cabrini's commitment to people with HIV disease
in our community remains constant.
