You don't have to be a "senior"
to be concerned about osteoporosis

Osteoporosis is a disease in which the bones become extremely fragile, easy to fracture and slow to heal. While it is most common in post-menopausal women, it can effect women and men of all ages.

If you are a woman over 45, or if there's a history of osteoporosis in your family, you should check your bone mineral density every two years.

Cabrini uses the latest technology, a Bone Densitometer, to measure bone density. It can help detect osteoporosis early, or create a baseline that allows us to identify patients at high risk.

We also provide aggressive treatment for osteoporosis patients that includes exercise and proper diet, and sometimes hormone therapy. To inquire about a bone densitometry test, call (212) 995-6290.
