While our medical staff is there to minister to your
physical needs, our Chaplains are available 24 hours
a day to tend to your spiritual needs.
Roman Catholic, Protestant and Jewish Chaplains provide
counsel and comfort to patients, their loved ones, staff,
employees, to the community at large and through various
outreach programs.
Among their duties, Cabrini Chaplains minister to
each critical care patient in the ER, as well as to
the dying and the bereaved. They also will notify a
patient's priest, minister or rabbi at the patient's
request.
Our Chapel, on the main floor, is open to all every
day from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Liturgies of the Eucharist
(Mass) are celebrated daily.
Holy Communion is distributed throughout the hospital
by a Eucharistic minister. The Sacrament of Reconciliation
(Confession) and the Sacrament of the Sick (Anointing)
are available at the patient's request. For further
information call (212) 995-6056.
